The only work around I found was to use VirtualBox. The problem might be rare, it might be something other people found a simple fix and never posted, or it may be that modders are advanced in their coding skills and don’t need the Toolset. Either my search terms were in another ball park or there wasn’t a lot of information out there. I spent hours combing the internet looking for the specific error, what might be wrong, or how to fix it. I can’t recall what it was, but the Toolset didn’t work. When I did, the Toolset gave me an error. I got a new computer and like many people, I went from Win7 to Win10. Why this happens remains a mystery to me. This problem doesn’t seem to plague everyone but for some people, Windows 10 no longer runs the Dragon Age Toolset. It’s story time fellow Dragon Age addicts. Replace and update your version of Dragon Age: Origins If nothing else works, download and run the Toolset through an older copy of Windows (Don’t laugh, I spent an hour and reinstalled Inquisition only to find out Avast was blocking its access to the internet and making it crash.)ģ. Make sure your Antivirus program isn’t blocking it. Make sure your firewall isn’t blocking the ToolsetĢ.
